Work Scope of Quality Engineer
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Quality Engineer is to support PMT Asia quality management activities including new supplier qualification, existing supplier management, Customer complaint handling, NPI projects and site quality support if urgent, the position will report directly to PMT ISC Asia Quality Manager. The detail responsibility is as below but not limited:
RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Lead new supplier and product qualification activities associated with NPI or business needs.
2) Conduct onsite process audit at new supplier site.
3) Coordinate with Technical colleagues to complete product validation.
4) Implementing activities to improve supplier quality performance such as First time pass rate, complaint PPM, CAR cycle time.
5) Maintain QM tools in SAP including QIR, AVL, COA data entering, SCAR and CCAR complaint process.
6) Monitors supplier performance metrics and deploys improvement plans accordingly
7) Performs periodic process audits at existing supplier sites and tracks gap closure.
8) Investigation to customer complaints for quality issues to the commercialized product including Root cause analysis, Corrective action development, Initiate CCAR to supplier for quality issue etc.
9) Maintain Quality Agreements associated with each product from suppliers.
10) Support NPI projects activities like validation runs.
11) Ensure that company standards of safety, health, environment and Responsible Care are implemented and sustained in quality organization.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
? A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
? Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese are required.
EXPERIENCE:
? >3 Years Manufacturing plant and Production process experience in Chemical industry
? Knowledge in Product & Process Auditing, preferably based on VDA 6.3
? Knowledge of Quality tools & practices such as APQP, PPAP, D&PFMEA, DOE, TS-16949
? Problem solving analysis skills with a logical and methodical approach (8D, 5Why, Cause/Effect Diagram)
? Good communication skills and continuous learning.
? Strong self-motivation and demonstrates the ability to work independently under stress. 举报 分享
