As a Commercial Analyst you will provide assistance to dealers, customers, and field personnel by responding to technical and operational inquiries and to maintain and assist in the analysis of Commercial Division data. You will come to understand knowledge of the basic theoretical backgrounds after advanced specialized training or broad practical working experience. You will receive guidance and direction from the supervisor but will apply your own judgment to analyze and solve problems by considering diversified procedures, and following the standard practices and processes.



Job Duties/Assignments:

§ You will perform basic level functions for numerous inquiries received from field personnel, dealers, and customers as they relate to product, marketing, service engineering and parts. Most situations will require a rapid, high quality response. You will evaluate inquiries and decide on the complexity and depth of response. For those needing further expertise, you will seek guidance from the more senior commercial analyst or supervisor in terms of identifying the individual, communicating the request, obtaining the response and assuring communication back to the requesting party, within the time frame established by the requester. Inquiries may relate to pricing, order status, warranty procedures, proper maintenance of equipment, etc. Most inquiries come in the form of phone calls, emails and faxes.

§ You will provide analysis assistance/feedback to the Product and Commercial staff related to sales development, service engineering and custom products. You will be able to review and understand inventory data and practices.

§ You will provide order tracking and follow-up on custom product orders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

§ You will be involved in promoting the sale of products, services and systems offered by your work group.



Required Qualifications



Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university preferably in Engineering Technology and/or Business or Marketing
3-5 years related dealer/customer support experience with emphasis in heavy or industrial equipment
Requires basic product knowledge, familiarity with application knowledge and performs well in parts of process/system knowledge while having basic understanding of others
Strong requirements in Core Competency, e.g. Customer Focus, Building Trust, Works Safely and Focus on Quality, etc.
Requires basic knowledge of Manufacturing, Traffic, Purchasing, Engineering, Scheduling, Product Support, and Dealer Operations, etc.
Must have good communication skills, both oral and written. Must work effectively with dealer and customer concerns in a positive and productive manner and all levels of personnel within and outside the company.
