Job Scope

1.This position is responsible for coordinating the implementation of engineering changes and releases by working within the various engineering, manufacturing and materials systems and controlling affectivity dates.
2.Determines the window of opportunity for implementing NPI and engineering changes by evaluating the availability of both old and new material and necessary tooling and / or capital requirements.
3.Establishes and maintains close working relationships with personnel in operations, planning, purchasing, supply chain/logistics and design.
4.Checks and analyzes the daily progress of material, tooling and supporting paper work involved in engineering releases and changes to ensure their availability in accordance with established effective date.
5.Maintains Project Management schedule for changes arranged by job numbers and effective dates.

Required qualifications


Effective communication skills and teamwork are essential competencies for this position as this individual must actively influence others to be on time and accurate to achieve success.

Previous experience in or knowledge of product design, manufacturing operations, logistics planning or manufacturing engineering are desirable.

Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
