Regional Logistics Manager for Asia

Summary:
Logistics Specialist is a member of the IBO Supply Chain team supporting daily China/regional logistics activities. The logistics activities include the storage and transport of non-hazardous and hazardous package and bulk products via all available modes in support of Albemarle’s customers and businesses assuring logistics standards are maintained and service integrity is preserved. Further, the role will ensure adherence with import/export laws, provide logistics solution based on business demand and requirements, improve operational efficiencies, develop KPI’s as well as documented processes and procedures.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 ( include EHSS responsibilities)

Daily Work
1. Supervise SH logistics team to operate the inbound & outbound process smoothly and effectively.
2. Supervise SH Logistics team to continue optimizing SH logistics process
3. Support and coordinate SH logistics team to solve the challenges from China Customs, CIQ and other related departments
4. Support and coordinate SH logistics team to provide special logistics services as requested from internal and external customers.
5. Handle the complaint from internal and external customer.
6. Lead and support the projects assigned from direct supervisor.
7. Supervise SH logistics team to manage logistics service provider
8. Monitor the storage status of trading business
9. Support logistics procurement, SQ&SM, trade compliance & safety functionality of G.C logistics
10. Keep good relationship with Customs & CIQ, customs regulation & intelligence collection and sharing with WGC operation team.
11. Handle subordinates entry and resignation/layoff issue if any, back up for colleagues if need.
12. Other task assigned by directly supervisor.

Monthly Work
1. Monthly report, including highlight & lowlight and other logistics related database.
2. 3rd party logistics suppliers’ billing checking and help direct supervisor to control SH logistics cost.
3. Monitor the inventory management of Trading business and Shanghai HUB.

Quarterly Work
1. Quarterly report of Shanghai HUB

Yearly Work
1. Review and set up MBO of subordinates
2. Organize Yearly inventory stocktaking of external warehouses and HUB.
3. Yearly report of Trading Business
4. Support the internal or external audit of logistics team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/必备条件(education, language, expertise, functional competencies)
1. Bachelor's Degree required, at least 6 years work experience in logistics function. Multinational company’s logistics experience and in Chemical industry is an advantage;
2. Fluent English in writing, reading and speaking.
3. Good leadership and management skill.
4. Good communication and problem solving skill, customer oriented.
5. Self-motivated, curious in learning, self-developed and self-disciplinary.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Word'' Excel'' PowerPoint'' internet research. SAP software's an advantage. 举报 分享
