Job Introduction for Account Manager (Shenzhen)
This role is under PwC CN/HK, Tax division, in Shenzhen. The Account Manager works as a key point of contact for account operations related activities including helping build and execute client strategies, optimize internal support, increase efficiencies and assist in developing relationships with senior executives, in order to build the firm’s top line revenue across all services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationship and work on a daily basis with the Lead Client Service Partners to encourage and support relationship building and sales activities of Partners and Senior Managers (lead the sales meetings, large pursuit meetings and so on.).
- Develop and implement account strategy; perform market research, linking PwC capabilities to trends, understand firm services and offer applicable, development of account plan.
- Manager and create the targeted relationships building opportunities to support the client service team in building relationships with key senior executives.
- Manage and coordinate account level marketing, event planning, sponsorships, conferences and host key executive clients.
- Manage, integrate, and facilitate the overall operations of a large client account team. Key account operations, bringing innovative ideas, meeting facilitation, strategy execution, team communications, opportunity or sales pursuit management, financials, client feedback interviews etc.
- Support the creation of internal and external client communications and relationship development plans, including distribution of thought leadership to key stakeholders and development of client-facing deliverables (e.g., relationship mapping, meeting documents, newsletters, onboarding documents, engagement pursuit support, and proposals).
- Maintain ongoing reporting including opportunity management, net service revenues, budgeting and status of key relationships to bring insight and enhance account team performance and share insight with team.
- Build relationships across internal and external ecosystem; connect with peers, subject matter experts, global counterparts, clients, vendors to develop and bring ideas to the team, support sales pursuits, create alliances etc.
- Lead and facilitate the client feedback program for key relationships at the accounts
- Adhere to firm's policies in the areas of: Independence; Confidentiality; Non-solicitation; Intellectual property
External Posting Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor or above Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or other related major.
- Strong understanding of industry sector and knowledge with a minimum five years of account management / business development support experience (preferably at a professional services company, or similar role in large IT companies)
- Proven experience in business strategy development, planning and implementation
- Hands-on approach to ensure plan execution is realized
- Good influencing and negotiation skills. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and budgets
- Large account management experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Team player with a strong client service approach
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Excellent communication skills;
- Self-motivated and a self starter.
- Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
