PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
? In charge of forecasting, purchasing and inventory management.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
? Arrange and analyze the monthly sales history by customer, region and business unit, share with sales team for reference
? Drive the monthly Pre-D-Meeting and D-Meeting as required by monthly calendar, keep close communication with Sales & Product team, narrow the gap between sales forecast and OP, highlight the big gap and issues
? Develop rolling 6 month sales by SKU level. Get special demand from Sales and Product team, especially Project demand, promotion plan and NPI
? Investigate and inquiry root cause for forecast inaccuracy and adjust forecast timely
? Develop rolling 12 month purchasing demand to suppliers based on current sales forecast. And hold weekly meeting with supplier, highlight the risk if supplier cannot fulfill our forecast.
? Release PO to supplier and get the best ETA from them.
? Follow-up, analyze and take actions to continuously improve supplier delivery performance and assure goods are shipped in time.
? Daily analysis the root cause of the failure rate, take quick action to pull in the stock and feed back to the CS team.
? Daily troubleshooting and at the same time find solutions to avoid similar future problems.
? Review forecast performance, Lead time, ABC classification and safety stock requirements regularly to ensure optimum supply strategy
QUALIFICATIONS:
? At least 3 years’ working experience on continuous improvement within sales forecasting or demand planning.
? SAP/JDA experience preferred.
? Strong professional and interpersonal skills in working with sales/marketing teams.
? Self-confidence in questioning numbers and challenging assumptions being made by others.
? Proficient with MS office, especially Excel and PPT.
? English & Mandarin comprehension both written and spoken
