About Tax

Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the mind for many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you’ll help organisations and individuals to maximise their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You’ll achieve this through the advice you give to your clients on conducting proper tax planning, and helping them to fully meet their tax compliance obligations.

Taxation in a fast-paced business environment is exciting and intellectually stimulating. To meet the challenges, you’ll need to constantly develop your tax knowledge and research skills. As you progress, you’ll likely become specialised in certain specific areas of tax and/or industry segments.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business needs and derive business requirements
• Perform systems and/or proposal comparisons and evaluations
• Prepare business requirements document, project plan, training materials, rollout plan, etc.
• Effectively manage business requirements and change requests
• Manage project tasks and timeline
• Work closely with developers and test analysts throughout the Software Development Lifecycle

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Tax, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related fields for Associate, 4 years of experience for Senior Associate
• Knowledge in Tax, accounting, and data analytics
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, able to understand complex business problems and recommend business solutions
• Experience in IT projects and Software Development Lifecycle
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English as well as Putonghua is essential
