职位描述：

JOB PURPOSE:

This is a leadership role within the Medical Affairs team.

Externally focused role that will drive strategic application & operational delivery of our proactive medical programs in order to further scientific debate, improve clinical practice & support patient management.

Strong understanding of our customers & stakeholders will be key – especially understanding the complex healthcare environment and how patient education & patient support initiatives can support patients achieving their health outcome goals.

Additionally, this role relies on strong transversal cooperation & connection.

Compliances standards must be upheld to industry and Sanofi standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Leadership

1. Establish a strong medical programs team

2. Ensure strong internal stakeholder understanding of the MP team and establish key processes to guide internal stakeholders on how to engage with this team

3. Ensure connection & be able to drive change through the central & regional MP team members

4. Demonstrate Leadership a member of the Medical Affairs Leadership Team, driving continuous change in the direction of affiliate & MALT strategic platform

2. Strategic program development & alignment

1. Drive an insights based approach to developing strategic initiatives – include leveraging insights form patients, doctors, and the healthcare environment to guide our strategies

2. Develop strategically aligned medical communication initiatives (including publications planning, education programs, patient education programs, patient support programs) to improve patient management, patient outcomes and help Sanofi achieve its business goals

3. Prioritize & achieve alignment of these initiative through the brand planning & brand team model

3. Partnerships

1. Identify key partners to deliver on prioritized initiatives

2. Establish win-win partnerships that help us to achieve our patient & business goals, while always maintaining our compliance standards

4. Operational delivery

1. Establish clear metrics to measure the success of operational initiatives

2. Regularly report on these operational initiatives to key stakeholders

3. Initiative continuous improvement activities to make our operations more streamlined & effective

4. Ensure all managers & directors are clear on their accountabilities & set up to succeed on delivery

JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Medical doctor

Experience & knowledge:

• 3-5 year clinical practice, preferably specialized in the relevant field

• 5+ years’ experience in medical affairs or clinical research function in pharmaceutical industry

• Management /Supervisory experience

• MBA holder is preferred, but not a must
