Position Summary
This person will be responsible for the analysis, development and testing work for optical components and systems as well as leading research project in the related areas
Overview:
1. Promote Raman and FTIR products and help teams to negotiate purchasing contracts of these products with customers and import companies.
2. Investigate potential customer requirements especially those related to Raman and FTIR technologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Acknowledgement and understanding of the functions and application of Raman and FTIR technologies, Familiar with Raman and FTIR spectrometers and related accessories,
2. Support sales team in terms of technology
3. Product promotion incl. product seminars, homepage, website, etc.
4. New application area development.
5. Training the sales and endusers
Required Experience And Education
1、 5 years related working experience with a Master’s degree; PhD is plus Chemistry, materials specialities is better.
2、 Solid understanding of aberration theory, lens design, diffraction, and radiometry.
3、 A deep understanding in optical instruments, such as Raman, NIR, FTIR and other analytical techniques.
4、 Experience in optical component and subsystem characterizations in lab environments.
5、 Design of complex optical sub-systems and systems.
6、 Ability to design and perform design of experiments related to optical instrumentation.
7、 Must be a proactive self-starter, excellent communicator, good team leader and creative problem solver.
8、 Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Desired Experience
1、 Optical system design in Raman, FTIR, or other optical instruments.
2、 Application experience/understanding in analytical spectroscopy is a strong plus.
