The Senior / Chief Accountant is the leader of the accounting team and responsible for the integrity of the financial statements of the company as per Chinese GAAP and IFRS through the monitoring of data processed by accounts receivable, accounts payable and the closing of books in a timely manner.


The Senior / Chief Accountant manages the accounting, the financial controlling, the budget, the treasury and the tax issues relating to the Faurecia Headquarter structure in Shanghai and ensures the implementation and use of financial tools and processes. The main missions of this role are to:
?Supervise day-to-day financial accounting activities of the Shanghai office accounting team;
?Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, payment run and banking activities;
?Maintain, review and signed off A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets and Bank Account reconciliations on a monthly basis;
?Set up rules and procedures to ensure proper implementation of all accounting policies (IFRS and PRC GAAP).
?Control spending/commitment for the company capital expanditures and general expenses.
?Ensure the monthly closing and analysis the company montly account with budget and prior month forecast.
?Contribute to Mid Term Plan, budget and forecasts setting-up, and actively participating in the analysis of the Faurecia RHQ Shanghai activities (AS, SM & IS Operations, R&D and LCC Purchasing).
?Ensure reconciliation of inter-company accounts.
?Manage relations with local tax and registration authorities.
?Contribute to audit requirements.
?Training of the accounting team to improve their controlling and accrual accounting acknowledge

Experience and knowledge:
?Bachelor's degree in Finance
?3 to 6 years of professional experience
?Good accounting knowledge, controlling experience and tax know how
?Familiar with ERP system, QAD preferred
?Strong teamwork sense
?Strong communication skills
?Strong training and development skills
?Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
