职位描述
The role of the Supply Chain Manager is to ensure that the complete material flow from supplier collection to final delivery to the customer is developed corectly during business acquisition and implemented on time and to cost upon business award. This includes the material flows within our factories, and any modifications driven by customer demand or volume / business fluctuation.
The main missions of the role are to:
? Develop supply chain concepts (prelim. MIFD and cross check with PSE expert).
? Evaluate existing Faurecia locations (industrial footprint) and possible needs for new facilities (JIT plants) with full justification.
? Estimate full supply chain cost (packaging, storage area, transportation, labor, organization, etc.).
? Define logistic requirements (Warehouse, JIT..).
? Source logistic & transportation companies (as necessary).
? Define preliminary packaging (shipping) specifications & packaging specifications for prototypes and integrate packaging specifications into BOM.
? Implement supply chain concept on a timely basis, ensuring logistics conventions and rules are fully complied with.
? Manage and track all costs against business plans and budgets.
? Manage changes to supply chain concepts (modify concepts, cost changes, update MIFD etc.. and implement changes).
? Manage continuous improvement and productivity (Work with other product groups to develop synergies and milk runs etc..).
? Participate in the development of the Division PC&L network, regular reporting as group request.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
? Bachelor's degree in engineering or related
? Strong verbal and written communications skills & Good computer skills
? Experience in autmotive JIT supply
? bi-lingual (English required)
