职位描述：
BASIC FUNCTION
Take charge of Kohler Novita’s engineering/quality control responsibility in China (sanitary products, OEM/ODM of consumer Electronics), improve the customer satisfaction and ensuring steady growth as we provide stable quality and competitive products in the market. Responsible for developing a cooperative working relationship between Kohler Novita China and other group and division functions.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work proactively with Novita product Engineers/Quality on initial concept development. Guide product design to be compliant to DFM principles (For OEM/ODM factory)
2. Leadership in solving all quality issues during development stage with NPI team and suppliers prior to tooling kick-off.
3. Take charge of Novita’s product quality issue, follow the issues and cooperate with Korea Novita factory or OEM factory QA team to finish the product improvement.
4. Responsible for coordinating engineer samples build, testing and verification of product requirements
5. Coordinate PFMEA review with NPD team. Make out the quality plan and QC working instruction for new product.
6. Monitor NPD components and finished production qualification progress. Coordinate to solve the quality issue with NPD team at early stage. Insure the NPD smooth transfer to mass production with consistency.
7. Ensure new products are qualified in engineering and pass related standards (CCC , CQC etc.) in Korean or Chinese market, especially familiar with air purifier and Bidet seats consumer electronics.
8. Drive continuous quality improvement based on the data and information from market to reduce warranty cost and unit failure rate.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervisory Relationships:
1. Report to Kohler Novita Technical Service Manager, KIC.

Organization Relationships:
1. Close cooperation with Novita market needs and customer requirements.
2. Close cooperation with R&D, QA and Technical Service team to solve technical problems and maintain stable quality.
3. Close cooperation with Korea Novita Factory and China OEM factory OEM department.
External Business Relationships:
1. Frequent contact with OEM \Suppliers.
2. Attend trade shows, seminars, components exhibitions, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor degree in mechanical or electronic engineering, with at least 5 years of work experience in sanitary electronic products in new product development field.
2. Familiar with sanitary electronic products. Extensive interaction with metal/plastic molding vendor preferred.
3. Strong QA/QC analysis capability, strong knowledge in product verification processes. Tooling, molding problem solving skills preferred.
4. Strong leadership. Good communication skill.
5. Ability to communicate effectively in English both written & oral Knowledge of electronic engineering. Purchasing experience of electrical products will be plus.
6. Good English speaking and writing skills. Korean language skill will be big plus.
7. Ability to work in a multicultural team with a focus on forward-looking, optimistic, pro-active, and ready to work under pressure.
