Software Development Engineer
Software Development Engineer for Microsoft Manufacturing Test Engineering
Microsoft Manufacturing Test Engineering (MTE) looking for a C/C++/C# test software programmer for test equipment of Microsoft hardware product, including Surface Accessory, Mouse and Keyboard. This job is based on Shenzhen, China, and will have 15% travel to factory in Dongguan/Suzhou in China, International travel is also required occasionally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working out test solutions for production line test;
2. Develop automation test software of test equipment;
3. To bring up, debug, and fine tunning test equipment on line while product build;
4. Support product bug analysis/debugging from on line test result;
5. Draft and submit software design document, operation manual, and other necessary technical document;
Competencies:
1. Professional programming skill on C/C++/C# on the platform of Windows and Windows RT;
2. Familiar with programming on USB/HID, TCP/IP, SQL, Bluetooth, WiFi, and hardware drivers;
3. Rich experience on test equipment software design and debug, firmware program experience is helpful;
4. Good English communication skill both in oral and writing; Working language is both English and Mandarin;
5. Fast learner and able to deliver complex projects under pressure;
6. Interest to learn new technologies for test equipment design.
7. Proven ability to succeed in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment;
Qualification:
BS/MS degree on specialty of Computer Engineering, Electrical Technology, Automation or any other related major, with 3-5 years of test equipment software development experience;
