Polycom is an industry leader on unified communications and has world-class R&D center in Beijing. The Beijing center plays a critical role inside Polycom and has full ownership of key products. Right now, we are extending the team that develops the smart peripheral devices, such as face-track camera, 360-degree camera, touch-screen endpoint controller, etc.

We are seeking exceptional senior software manager to join our development team. The ideal candidate must be passionate about building a great product combined with top class user experience and superior quality. The right candidate should be highly self-motivated and have strong leadership to drive projects and team to be successful.

Responsibilities:
? Manage a software group (20-30) of developers
? Leading the design work for multiple smart peripherals product lines with advanced video, audio and camera technologies like face detection, voice tracking, depth camera, H.265 implementation
? Build a high morale, productive team, where team members trust each other
? Coach individual engineers to grow their soft and technical skills
? Work with hardware team closely to address any product issue
? Work with product managers to make sure we are building the right product
? Take lead to resolve the most challenging issues with the team
? Be creative and encourage innovations for your team

Requirements:
? Master Degree in Computer science, EE or equivalent field is required
? 10+ years software development experience, with a minimum of 5 years of technical leadership role
? Ability to influence across a global software development organization
? Demonstrated ability in verbal and written English communication skills
? 5+ years’ experience of developing embedded software architecture
? Knowledge of SoC system and proven product delivery on the basis of them
? Experience with embedded operation system and multi-threaded / multi-core design
? Expertise on video, audio processing is a strong plus 举报 分享
