Line Manager: Marketing Manager
Join us as Brand Manager and you'll get the opportunity to work with some of the world's best loved food brands including Double Mints, Skittles, Extra and etc.
You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager and be responsible for leading brand plans development and implementation in line with business OGSM and brand objectives.
Your job responsibilities include but not limited to :-
Drive Brand Strategies
? Leads development of 1 Year Brand Plans in line with Business OGSM.
? Manages delivery of Brand performance in line with P&L metrics & targets.
? Ensures alignment of key insights with Brand strategies
? Leads the review and manages delivery of Brand performance against targets.
Identify and leverage consumer Insights to strengthen Brand
? Identifies key issues and business opportunities using relevant consumer insights.
? Demonstrates solid technical marketing skills and knowledge of brands.
? Drives performance against key brand growth measures.
Drive for Results through strong understanding of Category dynamics
? Excellent understanding of category dynamics and drivers.
? Works with key stakeholders/customers & suppliers to create a consumer led, category driven approach to all activities
? Drives Brand performance to deliver key in-market metrics.
? Direct advertising agency on activation campaigns (BPI) creative development under global communication strategies, and align with media team on most effective media plan to build brand salience and growth.
Effectively builds alignment through Leadership of Cross Functional relationships
? Drives alignment and enthusiasm among key internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, R&D, Commercial, Supply, & Sales organization)
? Manages external agencies in line with stretching Business and Brand deliverables (promotion, packaging, design, communication)
? Effectively motivates and manages project teams to deliver key projects on time and in full
Deliver effective measurement and evaluation
? Consistently reviews the performance of all activities, capturing actionable learnings for the future.
? Utilizes a range of methodologies to track business and brand health performance.
? Effective management of A&CP budget for Brands.
What we are looking at you:-
· Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing and management with admired multinational FMCG companies and solid China experience.
· Fluency (both verbal and written) in English and Mandarin (spoken, and preferably reading and writing).
· Track record in building multiple brands in China is important.
· Possession of leadership attributes of strategic thinking, and the ability to drive for results, innovate, lead courageously, influence others, engage and inspire others.
· Ability to adapt quickly to a challenging environment in the consumer dynamics and in the competitive landscape.
· Track record of demonstrating leadership and influencing others without authority.
· Experienced in partnering with agencies in creatively developing integrated campaigns.
· Potential to lead and take the initiative to address emerging market, consumer, and competition trends and to assess business situations and market situations to identify and prioritize brand-building opportunities based on the market and consumer information.
