GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Controller China will be part of a team whose responsibility is to support profitable sales growth driven by the leadership and sales team.
Operating in this role she/he will be expected to provide a detailed insight into all finance & Marketing related aspects of the business.
The development of a positive working relationship with Federal-Mogul functional groups is essential.
Be responsible for the activities covering the identified China region as below:
? The position is responsible for regional sales controlling activities, working within China sales team, coordinate with Business Unit, Finance, and Operations to perform sales controlling works.
? Operational Planning: provide guidance and support to the sales team, draw up of strategic sales plans and yearly sales budgets, work closely with the individual Sales Managers, cross functional coordination/agreement with local and global BU, sales, finance, operation functions and FM central sales and marketing
? Develop/provide monthly regional sales controlling reporting package covering all standard reports required by Global Sales and Marketing
? Be responsible for the regional monitoring of sales plans, departmental budgets and other performance measures, variance analysis actual vs budget vs previous business period, order book analysis/running forecast, wins and losses analysis, price give back / price increase activities
? Establish new processes/structures/common standards within FM’s framework and system capabilities, improve available systems to ease the reporting output as well as any required supporting activities
? Work closely with the regional / global finance control and manufacturing operations to ensure above listed activities are fully supported
? Support of the sales team and management in terms of presentation materials or any other analysis as requested
? Provide financial controlling support to FMSH trading unit to further improve the profitability of this unit.
? Work closely with marketing to complete marketing analysis as major customer engine platform, booking opportunities, market shares, and competitor benchmark
? Support marketing & management on strategic customers & programs review with highlights on volumes, share, pricing, business status & issues.
? Work in accordance with the Federal-Mogul Integrity Policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any other comparable field.
? 5 to 7 years experience in the automotive industry environment would have the necessary experience for this job, although candidates from similar industries would be considered.
? Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, Excel and Powerpoint, Access (optional).
? Knowledge of SAP and/or other local ERP systems would be helpful.
