BASIC FUNCTIONS

Under the direction of the Sr. Retail Sales Manager, this position is responsible for developing and implementing home center channel sales target through home center management. Make national agreement negotiation (sales/share objective, term, etc), marketing program planning and follow up coordination, new store opening, Kohler display area, location, design coordination. Communication between regions and headquarters of both parties. Business review with headquarters / sales records and reports by store.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand competitors and other market information.
Coordinate, develop, evaluate, audit and approve yearly budget of home center development in various regions.
Develop and supervise a strategic, consistent and long-term sales network in home center channel.
Recommend, guide, develop and assess new sales network in home center channel.
Advise on problem solving methods in relation to customer’s requirements.
Coordinate the execution & activities in respective regions to achieve national home center channel sales target.
Provide training and guidance to the Sales Executive to increase awareness of the importance and profitability of home center market and new residential market.
Advise on discount policy and /or company’s policy and profit related issues as well as any ideas in relation to increasing the competitiveness of the company.
Maintain the competitiveness of the national sales activities of home center and be well-versed on the home center market situation and the competition.
Maintain Kohler China management being informative on the home center market situation by providing information on competitor’s products, home center’s business strategies and other related information advantageous to the company.
Plan and participate in various marketing and promotion functions that are beneficial to the company’s long and short sales strategies.
Conduct presentations for home center clients in relation to the assigned market.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Sales Director and/ or the management.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

Report to the Sr. Retail Sales Manager of Kohler China.
Frequently contact with home center clients in different region to fulfill sales target.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

College graduated or above with business development and marketing knowledge.
At least 6 years experience in business development or sales management preferably gained from plumbing or consumer durable manufacturing industries
3 years supervisory experience in multinational environment. Good sales management, leadership and interpersonal skill are required.
