Position Summary
 

This job position will be assigned to perform either in house electrical engineering and design work or supervise the local design institute for electrical design for all IG B&E-China executed projects and providing as requested engineering support across the other countries within Asia region. This position will require relative senior level of engineer who is able to perform the required electrical design and equipment specification development responsibilities and provide proper judgment in reviewing third parties’ electrical design drawing. He/she will be also expected to provide electrical design and construction material estimation in supporting to PDE.

Principal Accountabilities
 

?Manage and perform various aspects of electrical design including plant power supply contract negotiation technical support, electrical power loading calculation for process and utilities system. Electrical hazardous area classification. Perform single line design, control schematic drawing, HV/MV electrical equipment spec development and cost estimation, electrical cable, cable tray, lighting, grounding, MCC room detail design,
?Coordinate and communicate technical issues among various groups including AP US and Europe electrical community, GSS and Local Design Institute
?Review and feedback electrical basic and detail design drawing and spec completed by LDI or vendors
?Understanding APCI electrical engineering standard, spec and international industry electrical engineering code and China local code
?Support project proposal estimation, project execution, construction QA/QC, as build drawing
?Support electrical equipment local sourcing activities, conduct shop testing and inspection
?Initiate electrical design changes as necessary
 

Recommended Skills and Experience
 

?8+ years experiences in Electrical Design & engineering for Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical related industry with Design institute or engineering company.
?Good experiences in high voltage power supply/ power station engineering work
?BS degree in Electrical Engineering
?Fluent in oral and written English
?Be able to work in a team environment
?Be able to travel to site as required
?Be able to prepare technical documents, drawings and specification
?Skillful in drawing, calculation and design with AutoCAD, ETAP, PTW
?Well understand China local electrical engineering design code and familiar with IEC electrical engineering standard and code 举报 分享
