About Tax
Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the mind for many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you’ll help organisations and individuals to maximise their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You’ll achieve this through the advice you give to your clients on conducting proper tax planning, and helping them to fully meet their tax compliance obligations.

Taxation in a fast-paced business environment is exciting and intellectually stimulating. To meet the challenges, you’ll need to constantly develop your tax knowledge and research skills. As you progress, you’ll likely become specialised in certain specific areas of tax and/or industry segments.


Job responsibilities:

· Work on indirect tax consulting and compliance exercises, including preparation of tax computations and returns, and handling correspondence with the Mainland Tax Bureaus;
· Work as a part of a team on client projects and other assignments;
· Conduct research relating to China indirect tax and business issues;
· Build up and maintain relationships with clients at various levels; and
· Supervise the work of junior staff members within the group.


Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance;
· Minimum five years' relevant corporate tax experience in China, experience in export VAT refund, cross border services zero rated / exemption is a must;
· Real estate, Financial services industry background, Tax bureau background is a plus;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and Japanese, English ;
· Confidence with a strong business sense;
· Strong analytical skills and organizational skills; and
· A team player with good interpersonal skills, self-initiated and results-oriented.
