Job Description – Communications Specialist
Job Title:
Communications Specialist – Brand Portfolio and Digital Communications
Report to:
Communications Manager
Mission:
The mission of a Communications Specialist is to further grow and develop communications and branding in line with the outlined Atlas Copco strategy to become First in Mind - First in Choice, and our brand promise Committed to Sustainable Productivity.
Included in the mission is:
1. With the input from the Business Plan/Marketing Plan, create and execute a yearly strategic and tactical Communication Plan with focus on digital communication through various digital platforms and communication channels. Be the brand partner for brand portfolios (Chicago Pneumatic, Fuji and Desoutter).
2. Responsible for internal and external communications for brand portfolios with quality and quantity contents published through internal platform (SharePoint), new business website and social media channels, follow up SEO results with key performance indicators and reporting.
3. Drive the publicity through new media channels, continuously develop and improve Branding through social media channels and with a strong focus on generating leads for business growth.
4. Grow Atlas Copco brand awareness through higher digital reach amongst target groups.
5. Ensure successful implementation of the marketing communication campaigns through digital channels and follow up results with key performance indicators and reporting.
As a person you need to:
1. Promote a free flow of information throughout the organization
2. Be efficient to utilize time, resources and budget to fulfil the mission
3. Continuously explore new areas of learning
4. Work productively in a high pressure environment
5. Commit to targets and goals, stand firm in the implementation
6. Plan and work in a systematic and organized way to accomplish concrete results
7. Adapt to the team and build team spirit
8. Build wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organization
9. Work proactively and deliver excellent result with professionalism
Competence and qualification:
1. At least 3 years of related work experience from a marketing or communication position in an international organization.
2. Good appreciation of graphic design, a perfect understanding of digital communications and social media, as well as excellent organizational and administrative skills.
3. Be a competent user of various IT packages, such as databases, website content management and reporting systems, Microsoft Office, be familiar with SEO and content marketing technologies/search, and be eager to learn new IT technologies when needed.
4. Good writing skills both in English and Chinese.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Project management skills, good presentation skills and strong inter-personal skills.
7. With a minimum of a Bachelor degree from a major university, preferably marketing and communications related, a Master degree is preferred.
8. Willing to travel
