PURPOSE OF THE JOB 设置此职位的目的
Offer marketing department in China Buildings business will be strongly focusing on China for China in order to develop Chinese customer oriented product solutions and other Asia Pacific countries as further steps. Product Manager in this group will be the key person to implement China for China strategy effectively and quickly. He needs to analyze customer/market competition and technology, identify and prioritize customer requirements, define product roadmap, develop the desired products/solutions either through in-house design or OEM/ODM approach.

OBJECTIVES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 主要岗位职责
Market research and strategy
• Lead VOC (Voice of the Customer) activities to gain comprehensive understanding of security market landscape, including market size, growth potential, distribution models, competitive analysis and end user requirements.
• Define and optimize product portfolio strategy and roadmap.
New product initiatives
• Build business case for new products to open projects, which include desired specifications, initial pricing, and initial sales, forecasts and financial feasibility etc.
• Execute new product developing process either through in-house development or OEM/ODM programs.
• Lead product marketing function in OCP （Offer Creation Process）, provides inputs to the design process, participates in Engineering design reviews & Project meetings.
Offer management:
• Facilitates competitive market research and market-positioning information on products in conjunction with Offer marketing and Sales Organizations in the region.
• Develops information for use in technical specifications and instruction manuals; prepares model numbering schemes. Prepares marketing handoff documents and supports a timely and efficient launch of new products.

In-Country within Buildings Business: BU Offer Marketing, Sales, Technical Support, Shanghai R & D
Corporate functions within Buildings Business: global product management, global Product marketing management, global supply chain, global R & D etc
Cross-BU: SSVF (SE virtual factory), other BU product/offer marketing, cross selling team etc.

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS 对外工作联系
Customers, Distributors, System integrator, Design Institute and Suppliers

Know how : (education, etc) 具体要求（如教育程度）
An Engineering, Electronics or Marketing bachelor’s degree from a leading university, master’s degree preferred. Overseas study and working experience is a plus.

Experience required : 工作经验要求（请注明要求的工作年限）
Minimum 5 year working experience in security industry in one or more of the following areas:
·Video security is a must and access control as a plus
·System integration and installation experience
·IP-based network system

Languages : 语言能力要求
Multi/lingual: Fluent in English (both verbal and in writing) and Mandarin

Age requirement : 年龄要求
28-40
