Electronics Engineer for Display (To Microsoft, based in Suzhou)
Job Description
Electrical Engineer focused on computer display technologies. This person will contribute across the lifecycle of our Surface product development team, with a focus on system test, component and board bring up in the factory, as well as broader issue debug and resolution. The person will be working with product development team members at the factory and in our development centers to ensure robust designs and providing a high level of responsiveness to pre-production build issues. The experience and skills this person brings should provide additional capability to the team in the area of display drive, touch input solutions, and system integration. Ideally this person will be able to represent the broader display team in meetings with suppliers as required for product development and to expedite issue resolution.
Qualifications
Required: Minimum BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or similar field. 10-15 years of experience in related field, including 3-5 years of experience implementing and supporting display technology in high volume product lines. Hands-on experience in design, development and launch of high-volume consumer electronics products, including board level debug and display signal analysis. Experience working with technology partners in development of new products. Strong design skills, and ability to manage through ambiguity, and technical problem solving skills. Strong project management and teamwork skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong English skills. Proficiency in understanding C, and hands on experience using software debuggers. Domestic and international travel may be required.
