MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Business partner to Senior leaders
? Provide strategic sourcing direction across functional areas and programs that involve strategic outsourcing and vendor management across multiple GFM disciplines.
? Active vendor management in the form of quarterly business reviews.
? Lead process of developing vendor management strategy, identifying, sourcing, and securing resources based on business requirements/results
Functional Leadership
? Manage the RFP, pricing and negotiation process for clients on behalf of CBRE, and support account teams to do the same.
? Supports the strategies for negotiation of major programs, projects and/or vendor activities.
Operational Leadership
? Implement, and operate integrated outsourcing strategies, standards and guidelines, training, costing parameters and tools/templates.
? Set savings targets and goals for GFM, sourcing programs, and developing metrics for tracking performance.
? Implementing and maintaining CBRE procurement policy and standards.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Ideal Experience
? Business / Commerce Degree with at least 6-8 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and negotiation.
? Management experience in integrated outsourcing and supply chain management and procurement.
? Management of outsourcing relationships and the ability to accomplish results through vendor management.
? Execution of vendor contracts between the company and the vendor, drawing upon good contract management skills, negotiation and problem solving.
? Relevant work experience in GFM with knowledge of procurement for services related to facility management will be highly regarded.
? Practical knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations and engineering and risk management needs will be highly regarded.
Critical Competencies for Success
Financial Modelling
? Competency in financial modelling, feasibility studies and total cost of ownership analysis.
? Ability to analyse complex problems and generate solutions.
Influencing Skills
? Exhibit exceptional relationship management and conflict management capabilities in order to guide the company-vendor relationship.
? Proven ability to lead by example, with strong influencing skills.
Other Personal Characteristics
? Ability to be vocal and strongly lead and influence
? Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
? Capable of managing projects in an atmosphere of uncertainty and change.
