Position Summary
This job position will be assigned to perform either in house Instrument or supervising the local design institute for instrument design for all AP Shanghai executed IG B&E projects. This position will require relative senior level of engineer who is able to perform the require instrument design responsibilities and provide proper judgment in reviewing third parties’ instrument drawing. He/she will be also expected to provide instrument and construction material estimation in supporting to PDE.

Dimensions
Involved equipment value range: $10~20 MM annually.

Principal Accountabilities
? Perform all aspects of telecom design, fire alarm system, gases analyzer system ; control schematic drawing, instrument index, instrument hook up drawing, equipment and panels layout design.
? Conduct instrumentation detail design in house or supervise Design Institute to complete detail design for all IG B&E ASU, mid-cryo and electronics UHP projects.
? Conduct trip/analyzer panel design and vendor factory inspection and equipment test
? Coordinate and communicate technical issues among various groups including AP US and Europe and vendors, work closely with Shanghai engineering process control and piping design team
? Review and provide feedback to basic and detail design drawing and spec
? Understanding APCI instrument and controls engineering standard, spec and international industry instrument/ controls engineering code and local code
? Conduct project proposal estimation, project execution, commissioning and start up
? Conduct design changes as necessary
? Be responsible for Instrument hook up/ wiring/ cable tray construction cost estimation

Recommended Skills and Experience
? 5+ years experience in Instrument/ Controls Design for Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical related industry with Design institute or engineering company.
? BS degree in Instrument/ Controls Engineering
? Fluent in oral and written English
? Be able to work in a team environment
? Be able to travel to site as required
? Be able to prepare technical documents, drawings and specification
? Owns the Intools design experience
? Skillful in drawing, calculation and design with AutoCAD and Microstation,
? Well understand China local Inst/Controls engineering design code and familiar with industry Inst/Controls engineering standard and code 举报 分享
