SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide payroll services to employees, managers, HR and Finance departments in Asia Pacific region in an outsourced payroll model and a shared services environment. . These services include, but are not limited to, timely and accurate payroll data collection, consolidation and delivery of data to an external payroll vendor, payroll processing and controls, responses to queries from employees, managers and corporate units in the field of payroll with usage of the local language of the country involved or/ and English. This position will be a primary contact at the operational level with payroll vendors and internal clients. The Payroll Specialist will take part in payroll related projects as and when required and will be responsible for completion of ad hoc tasks related to the payroll process or payroll projects. This position requires work with various systems including SAP and other data sources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Timely collect, maintain and consolidate payroll data
? Deliver payroll data to an external payroll vendor
? Reconcile payroll output received from an external payroll vendor with internal data sources and manual change requests
? Monitor and ensure timely and accurate service delivery by the payroll provider, and compliant with local regulations
? Prepare payroll reports
? Respond to internal clients’ inquiries concerning payroll
? Manage databases, work time, ensure data integrity between the systems including SAP
? Cooperate with external payroll vendor at operational level to timely and accurately deliver payroll to employees
? Effectively solve performance issues related to outsourced payroll services delivered by an external payroll provider
? Reply to employees’ queries regarding payroll
? Monitor deadlines defined by work regulations and labor law
? Build effective relationships with internal and external customers
? Take part in payroll related projects

REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor (or above) degree and minimum of 3 years of payroll experience are required with preference to experience in large corporations operating globally
? Experience in shared services environment will be an asset
? SAP knowledge will be an advantage
? Familiar with MS Office (especially Excel)
? Proven proficiency in English and advanced knowledge of other foreign language will be a strong asset
? Analytical skills and strong attention to details
? Ability to work under pressure of time and as a member of a team
