PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Senior Software Test Engineer for REM will be responsible for test and delivery of the next generation Cloud-based Remote Energy Management platform in Schneider China.

OBJECTIVES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in requirement analysis of the cloud-based REM platform.
Responsible for ensuring delivery quality of the cloud-based REM platform, by performing various necessary tests, including system test, regression test, performance test, stress test, etc.
Be able to design effective test cases independently, according to business and software requirements.
Define test plans according to project schedule.
Generate test reports according to test results.
Work with other software development and test engineers to deliver software releases on time with good quality.
Lead and mentor junior members.

Know how : (education, etc)
a. Bachelor or above degree.
b. Strong facilitation skills, and creative problem solver.

e. Enthusiastic, hard working and highly productive.
f. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
g. Demonstrated ability as a quick learner and team player with good communication skills and strong leadership.
h. Well presented and customer focused.
Experience required :
a. 3+ years of full life-cycle software development project experience.
b. 2+ years of project experience with independent test case design for various tests, including API test, integration test, system test, performance test, stress test, etc.
c. Understanding and experience with web-based application test.
d. Experience with web-based application test framework and tools.
e. Understanding and experience with large scale system test is a strong plus.
f. Understanding and experience with perfomance test and stress test is a strong plus.
g. Understanding and experience with script-based test automation is a strong plus.
h. Understanding and experience with cloud computing technologies is a plus.
Languages :
a. Good English skill, both in oral and written.
