The Role
The Store Development Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of retail store operations across China, with a particular focus on store mechanize and logistic areas.
Responsibilities:
? Lead Store Operations team for company by recruiting, training, and providing inspiring leadership, coaching, and development for the team across multiple operating areas.
? Effective tracking and insight delivery on key strategic bets within the region – quality of execution and quality of performance measurement
? Up-skilling and development of store operations as a function within the region
? Adhere to processes regarding merchandise display and inventory, logistic, etc.
? Experiment with and promote daily workflow efficiency improvements within local team, share proven best practices with peers and management
? Represent company products in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with others both inside and outside the company
? Develop a strategic operating plan that focuses on continuous process improvements and alignment.
? Responsible for effective communication to promote positive relationships with direct reports, peers, vendors, and executives to achieve successful operations.
Required Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
? Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills
? Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in store management.
? Proven ability to work in a complex and diverse major business unit of a multi-national company.
? Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence all levels of the operations
? Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with conflict, strong problem solving and decision making as well as continuous improvement process skills
? Proven strong interpersonal, partnering, coaching and mentoring and networking skills
? Demonstrated strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills with attention to detail
? Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and tactical leadership skills, taking a concept and driving to implementation, with a focus on people, process and metrics
? Self-directed, with an ability to develop a plan based operational goals, drivers and metrics.
? Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
? Strong in numerical analysis and reporting
