Title : Regional Supplier Quality & Development Engineer

Subordinate: Plant Supplier Quality Engineer

Reports To : Regional Supplier Quality & Development Manager

Description :

The role of an SQ&D Engineer is to improve bought-our parts (BOP) quality performance duirng programe & production phase in line with purchasing strategy. The main missions of the role are to:

？ For supplier initial sourcing and/or resourcing, responsbile for supplier system audit (QSA) and feedback core team in terms of quality & technical level;

？ To participate design / technical review together with engineering, buyer, etc as input to JSC

(joint sourcing committee);

？ Supplier quality performance review regularly with plant SQE and provide support if necessary;

？ Supplier consolidation/compression suppport;

？ Provide quality training to strategic supplier accoding to supplier consolidation/compression plan;

？ LCCS (low cost country supplier) quality support (on-site audit, problem solving audit, etc);

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

？ Bachelor degree in engineering with a specialisation in quality

？ Minimum 3 years experience as an SQA/QA in an industrial environment

？ Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills

？ Ability to work in a matrixed organisation

？ International mind set, overseas experience a plus

？ Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
