职位描述：
Component Engineer (To Microsoft, based in Shenzhen)

The Surface development team is seeking an outstanding Component Engineer to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can lead and manage overall electronic components.
1. In addition, this person will be responsible for defining and developing overall process with operations to integrate development activities into Team center.
2. Technical strengths must include some knowledge of PC or Game Console components, electronic and mechanical component physics, test methods, and failure analysis.
3. Will be responsible for writing Source Control Documents for critical components, resolving sustaining component issues, and support of multi-sourcing and product re-qualification.
4. Knowledge of statistics, standard hardware test practices, and consumer electronics manufacturing are strongly desired.
5. Program Management strengths must include the ability to direct the work of component and sub-system suppliers to meet overall program objectives.
6. Must be able to identify and put in place all resources required to execute a successful Component Engineering program.
7. Must be able to collaborate across engineering and business disciplines to meet very aggressive cost and schedule goals.
8. Must be self-motivated and results driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Domestic and international travel is required.
10. Minimum BS/MS degree in EE, Material Science or Related degree with at least 5 years Component Engineering experience in the PC or Game Console field required.
11. The position involves working closely with electrical engineers, industrial designers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, design verification engineers, component engineers, and program managers.

Qualifications:
Minimum BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar field.
At least 5+ years of industry experience
Strong interpersonal communication skills and effective written/oral communication.
Ability to work self-directed and closely within a team environment when required.
Excellent time management skills. Ability to prioritize/perform multiple tasks.
Attention to detail a must. Solve ambiguity issues with configuration information before processing.
