Job Overview：

As an assistant product manager, you will be responsible for developing New Product plans for your portfolios and working with Sr. PM to deliver plan to hit top and bottom line results. You will closely work with the local market teams and the engineering teams to define new products that are targeted specifically for end-users throughout GEM. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical skills, have the ability to outline a forward thinking plan, and be committed to drive your vision into reality. You will be required to travel and spend time in the various Emerging Market countries to understand the needs of our local marketing, sales teams, distributors, and our end-users.
 
You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with an engineering counterpart to define product requirements. You will work with the regional marketing teams to define a go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

Key Responsibilities：

? Execute market research, propose products, and develop new products assuring prioritization, competitiveness and timeliness.
? Conduct field tests for our new product development project, and provide field test survey to product planning team.
? Drive a project set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, finance and
        Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
? Competitor analysis to map and determine product positioning and pricing.
? Impart product training to ensure sales & marketing teams are fully up to date on product features, applications and how to
        win vs competitors.
? Assist Regional HQ commercialization teams to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Key Skills：

? Knowledge of product development processes and / or marketing.
? Product Marketing & Product management capabilities.
? Strong influencing skills with social confidence to interact with a diverse mix of nationalities.
? Eye for detail and ability to see projects spanning 12-24 months through to conclusion.
? A drive for results and excellent leadership skills, along with proven abilities in decision-making, priority setting, planning, and
        customer focus.
? Commercial savvy & awareness. Ability to conduct basic financial analysis.
? Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
? Excellent project and personal time management skills.
? Strategic thinking, process management, and measurement skills.
? Multimedia presentation skills to small and large groups
? Willingness to travel overseas to conduct end-user research on job sites and work with local marketing teams.
? Position entails working across time zones and therefore willing to do conference calls after office hours.

Qualifications：

? Degree qualification preferably in Marketing with additional qualifications in Engineering/Business.
? 3-5 years of product development / product marketing experience with a multinational corporation. Experience with products
        sold to the construction / hardware industry, Power tools would be preferred.
? English Language proficiency to a very high level. Both written and spoken.
? Advanced MS Office usage

? Market penetration for assigned products
? Product revenue and margins – for the product portfolio managed
