职位描述：

Continuous EngineeringEngineer

This position is reporting to the Offer DevelopmentManager and is responsible for offer development in terms of mechanical designand engineering. He/she shall work very close with electronic, tooling,industrialization, quality engineers and vendors to support products evolutionincluding metal & plastic design, design review, DFM and so on. He/she hasto generate and maintain design document with relevant parties (internal andexternal) in order to successfully maintain existing and create new solutionsto industry leading standards.

Besides, closely working with vendors and challengethem in terms of meeting our requirements of resource planning, lead time,cost, testing methods & best practice.

This role also involves maintaining existing designs,product evolution and supporting technical queries from product offer, OD,internal, external customers and suppliers. Here are summary:

• Design and develop new products in themechanical-related area

• Project coordination and follow up with manufacturingsupport department from design development stage through pilot run until massproduction release

• Carry out feasibility studies of new product conceptsassigned by supervisor

• Technical support to quality, marketing and manufacturingon existing products
  

Education:

Essential

· Degree in Mechanical/Automationengineering or similar

Desirable

· Master degree in Mechanical/Automationengineering or similar major

Job Related Experience:

Essential:

· 2+ years’ experience of Wildfire 5

· Knowledge in plastic, metal toolingand manufacturing

· 2+ years solid experience ofmechanical design of plastic

· 2+ years’ experience of developingproducts of customer electronic products

· Familiar with concept of toleranceanalysis

· In-depth experience in thedocumentation, test reports, test planning and design flow of consumer typeproducts development

· Extensive experience in enclosure,housing design for electronic and consumer type products

· Solid experience on safety andregulation requirements

· Experience with development productsfollowing PMP concept and risk assessment

· Experience on DFMA, DFM and toolingrequirement

Desirable:

· 2+ years solid experience ofmechanical design of die casting, metal stamping

· Experience of operating Solidwork

· Experience of product development ofwall sockets, switch, DIN Rail products

· Experience of development products /offers with suppliers / vendors together

Business Understanding:

Interactionwith internal and external customers / vendors; liaison across multiplefunctional areas.

· English & Mandarin – fluent, andvery good verbal and written communication skills

· Willing to communicate with all levelsof the organization

· Open minded, energetic, proactive& team player
