Job purpose, key tasks and responsibilities
? Lead development and execution of CHINA evidence generation plan in collaboration with global HEOR (product/franchise evidence lead & HE, modeling experts), and regional/country stakeholders (Market Access, Medical Affairs, Policy, ComOps):
o Reach consensus on the final plan across stakeholders
o Identify potential issues and ensure trouble shooting
? Maintain high scientific excellence. Publish articles and communicate in congresses
? Be an external HEOR representative in the AMESA and develop a network of academic and public health partners that can guide the company’s evidence generation planning and maximize the impact of the our evidence
? Act as internal expert for regional HEOR consultations related to company products.
? Support use of the evidence to influence decision-making process at Sanofi Pasteur
? Support external evidence based decision making related to company products by collaborating with commercial colleagues to present & discuss evidence with customers and recommending bodies
Needed experience, qualifications & competencies
? Professional qualifications
o MSc or PhD in Public Health / Epidemiology or related topics
o Expertise in developing and conducting outcomes research & HE studies
? Length and width of previous experience
o At least 5 years of experience in public health
o Previous experience in vaccine or infectious diseases
? Functional/technical competencies
o Proven ability to assimilate technical data and translate it into business strategies
o Strong project mgmt skills, ability to deal with cross expertise & cultural teams
? Behavioral competencies
o Integrity and customer focus
o Creative, innovative thinking and result-driven
o Organization autonomy, anticipation, adaptability, reactivity, rigor
? Leadership competencies
o Strategic thinking, political savviness, negotiation skills, ability to influence
