Position Title: Planning Manager, Sephora
Department: Supply Chain
Job Summary:
- Engage the team and business partners to drive Sephora business, be responsible to the budget, forecast, procurement, Supply, Inventory and cost.
Responsibilities:
Budget and Forecast
- Annual Budget for Sephora products to align with company business plan and strategy.
- Analysis the market trends, sales trends and product performance to propose new business estimation.
- Drive and lead both short and long term demand planning for local and import private label products
- To be together with the brand manager, S+ Marketing team and European demand manager to create the best possible sales forecast based on insight from Sales trends, strength of products, marketing activities and promotions through a monthly structured sales and operations planning process (S&OP).
- Deliver sales forecast for rolling 18 months horizon at designated accurate level and thereby ensure meet the target product availability.
- Detailed input gathering on launches and campaign quantities from the brand manager.
- Manage promotion campaigns / animations to meet the sales target.
- Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into company business.
Procurement Management / Ordering Management
- Based on Sales Forecasts, properly plan the regular procurement to Paris/Brands by following target service level and balance inventory vs. cost.
- Based on Promotion campaigns or Animations Sales Forecasts, properly plan the procurement in order to meet sales targets.
- Proper manage the shortage and order fulfillment rate.
- Proper manage the products phase in and phase out.
- Manage the under/over ordering within reasonable tolerance percentage.
- Maintain customer service level in line with company KPI’s target.
Supply and Inventory Control
- Follow up orders fulfillment and ensure efficient and sufficient supply to cooperate with company inventory targets and promotion campaigns / animations.
- Keep inventory level according to the KPIs and ensure on shelf availability rate in line with target.
- Maintain inventory structure and cost at a good and reasonable level.
- Lead and coordinate timely execution of products expiration.
- Collaborate with other planning teams and master data to ensure solid data integrity and optimized planning parameters of products.
Suppliers and Brand Management
- Setup good partnerships with Europe team and local team.
- Proper manage the brands phase in and phase out.
- Manage regular suppliers meeting.
- Follow up and manage suppliers service rate in order to achieve stable and in time supply.
- Execute and follow up the regular returns to suppliers, to meet the annual target.
Communication
- Establish professional and open communication with internal business partners.
- Maintain good relationships with both internal and external business partners.
- Flexible and able to achieve mutual agreements among all business partners, eliminate conflicts.
Team Management
- Engage with the team and business partners to drive continuous improvement of business and operations.
Qualifications:
- Over 6 years working experience, college or above.
- Minimum 3 years team management, able to drive and motivate the team.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong supply chain management knowledge is a must.
- Business oriented, paying to details and result driven.
- With ownership and initiatives.
- Able to do overtime during animation/sales period.
- Able to handle pressures.
- Strong analytical skills and good at excel.
- Retail background, project experience, SAP skills is a plus.
- Good level of written English and fluent in oral English.
