1.2 工作职责
a) 从事电力电子及高性能电机驱动的研究工作,作为团队的一部分,为具体的研究项目做出贡献;

1.3 资质要求
a) 电力电子、电机驱动、自动化相关博士学历,具备相应的电力电子变换器以及电机驱动的研究、开发及设计的相关经验;
b) 具备扎实的电力电子学知识和熟练的实验室操作技巧;
c) 掌握多种变换电路拓扑及其工作原理,熟悉电机驱动控制算法,熟悉常用功率器件的选型设计;
d) 熟悉电力电子设计仿真工具;
e) 熟悉DSP/FPGA平台,具有实时系统的编程能力;
f) 具有一定的电力电子功能测试、元器件测试、电机驱动系统测试;

Job Outline
The successful candidate will undertake research on power electronics for high performance electrical drive applications. This job will give the opportunity to work alongside a team of researchers developing electrical drives and their controls. This is an exciting opportunity to work within IAMET a major new flagship £25m initiative that the University of Nottingham has established.
The IAMET is a world-leading research and knowledge exchange hub focused on the marine economy. The position will also give the opportunity to join the PEMC Group, which is internationally renowned for research in power conversion, aerospace electrical power systems, power device and packaging technologies, electrical machines technology, industrial ac drives and energy systems. The PEMC Group currently has 13 academics and 90 researchers, along with a research grant portfolio of over £20m.
Candidates must have a PhD in power electronics, or equivalent, and research experience in the design and building of power converters. A good working knowledge of power electronics simulation software, programming of DSP and FPGA platforms, familiarity with electrical drives’ control methodologies, design of passive components and practical experience in power converter testing is required. A background in power electronics manufacturing is also desirable. It is also expected that the successful candidate will demonstrate high level communication and organisational skills and an aptitude for liaison with the industrial partner. International travel will also be required to liaise with the industrial partner.

? To collaborate in writing papers for submission to journals and conferences and prepare progress reports on the results of research;
? To present the results of research at project progress meetings and at conferences;
? To assist in the co-ordination of the research and related administrative tasks, including liaising with external project collaborators and providing assistance with supervision of doctoral students;
? To participate in training and staff development schemes as trainer or trainee as appropriate;
? To maintain appropriate professional development, expertise and awareness;
? To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required.
