The manager of Asia Pacific sales enablement is accountable for the identification, development, evaluation and implementation of commercial competency programs, onboarding/transition to sales programs and enablement platforms (Noggin) for sales and channel partners. This role maintains communication with regional sales & marketing leadership, Global Sales Enablement team, business units, sales, human resources and partners to ensure expectations are clearly defined and effectiveness is measured and communicated. The manager of Asia Pacific sales enablement is responsible for leveraging modern teaching strategies, assessment, and instructional technology that best closes the identified knowledge gap based on agreed upon sales role requirements & expectations. This role will also be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive competency frameworks that covers class-room training, learning through others and on-the-job development. This role manages & leads the operation, effectiveness, staff, and budget of competency programs. This role collaborates closely with the Global Commercial Competency Manager and Global Sales Enablement Managers to ensure alignment and to leverage content development, resources & tools as appropriate.
? Involved in regionalizing and deploying company-wide competency programs in the Asia Pacific region to accelerate sales revenue growth.
? Manages a calendar at the regional and sub-regional level that encompasses all sales training requirements to meet competency goals, in line with competency frameworks by segmented sales role.
? Regularly interacts with regional management on matters concerning sales and channel partner effectiveness.
? Regularly interacts with HR to align on overall competency needs.
? Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations and drive positive change through influence.
? Works closely with regional leadership teams to ensure employee development plans are established and executed based on competency expectations and priorities within the region.
? Strives to continuously improve competency within the region.
Minimum Qualifications
BS, BA or technical degree required and 8+ years background in customer-facing role, preferably in competency development and execution.
Experience managing, creating, prioritizing, planning and executing large scale programs.
Demonstrated capability to work on multiple types of projects at any one time. Proven track record resolving complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Ability to collaborate with cross-business and cross-regional teams to leverage expertise where is it available to get the job done.
Industry and solution-specific knowledge; strong project management, interpersonal, leadership, organizational and written/verbal communication skills; ability to sell ideas and present strategies at an executive level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management, PMP or similar certification.
Good command of written and spoken English, fluency in mandarin is beneficial.
