MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
? Take a strategic view of the digital commerce landscape, keeping current with industry best practices and trends.
? Lead and work with designated consultant to define strategy.
? Drive revenue and manage the P&L.
? Maintain positive open lines of communication with all internal departments in order to build strong partnerships.
? Build and maintain relationships with outside suppliers and partners in order to contribute to the efficient operation of the organization.
? Oversee concept development, strategizing, planning, implementation, and coordinating of e-commerce initiatives.
? Play a key role in the company’s go-to-market process, and maintain a close relationship with the brand marketing team, representing the digital consumer and e-commerce efforts in the process.
? Contribute to the product strategy for the Company's online services.
? Maintain a smooth production process, enabling the efficient handling of hundreds of updates and improvements to the sites’ functionality and design throughout each season or during the period of new product launch.
? Continue to drive a multi-channel focus, presenting a unified, customer-centric view of our brands, consistent across the brick-and-mortar and digital spaces.
? Manage large vendor contracts, and partner with additional third-party vendors to identify and apply solutions as needed for site experience improvement and operational optimization.
? Influence the fulfillment and returns handling aspects of the e-commerce business, in partnership with the distribution center. Drive decisions on packaging, delivery options and service levels.
? Frame and map opportunities based current trends to maximize sales.
? Develop strategies to deliver financial plans (sales, margin, contribution, inventory turns).
? Partner with Finance, Marketing, Service and Planning Departments to forecast weekly/monthly sales, margins and review financial rollups.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
KPI 1:
OIS Achievement – obliged to achieve annual assigned sales target with all online distributors
Measure:Achieve annual assigned target BDF Budget Management – manage all BDF related investment to online distributors
Measure: Ensure that all planned activity is delivered within budget premises and that spends do not exceed forecasted levels.
KPI 2
Project Planning and execution.
Measure: Delivery of planned activity within specified timelines.
KPI 3
E-commerce Professionalism, Knowledge of back office inside out: prices, products, orders intake, contracts and agreements
Measure: Feedback from distributor on commercial and professionalism dealings.
KPI5 Portfolio development and optimization
Measure: Effectively develop SKUs, which are suitable for online retail, provide guideline to distributor in selecting products, it must follow company’s overall strategy. Propose a mix product to be able to increase the average basket value and our ASP.
CANDIDATE PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
? Expertise in Taobao, T mall, Alibaba, JD.com
? Be envolved in the day to day operations of our key accounts understanding how to solve and manage complexity
? In-depth knowledge and experience in change management and a proven track record of building a successful E-commerce business in a complex, multi-channel retail environment in the China market. Experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable. Experience with P&L management, e-commerce and database marketing, digital production, design and technology tools and process is highly desirable.
? Possess thorough knowledge of merchandising, direct marketing and sales principles. Strong general management and leadership skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
? Mental ability to conduct interpersonal interactions with other company personnel, provide coaching and mentoring to staff, solve-problems, make decisions independently, and work effectively under pressure.
Ability to:
? Use strong analytical and reasoning abilities
? Identify/evaluate problem areas and implement effective solutions.
? Lead change and work with and inspire a broad range of individuals towards one common goal.
PREVIOUS/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
? Tertiary qualifications – undergraduate degree in business management or E-commerce related field
? Overall 5-8 years working experience.
? Basic understanding of digital marketing and online trade marketing
? Strong business management/analytical skills
? Proven ability to work well with customers.
