Description:
The Durability Engineer is responsible for the durability development of exhaust system. He/she is also responsible for the durability problem solving, standardization and the improvement of the calculation / testing methodologies and the product know-how in line with the global networks.

The main missions of the role are to:
？ Participate in the Development Validation Plan (DVP) for exhaust system with Product Engineer and validate it.
？ Validate CAE reports & give design improvement proposals if the product failed to reach target. CAE simulations include statics, mode, FRA, thermal distribution & thermal mechanic.
？ Confirm test setup, Do decision making for testing key paremeters & Validate test report which include engine endurance test (vibration, thermal shock), component fatigue test, RLDA (Road Load Data Acquisition) & hammer shock.
？ Take lead of problem solving about durability issues such as cracks during validation test, customer bench test, vehicle test & warranty returns.
？ Capitalize experience & database to propose lean DVP; Develop new procedures for both CAE and test to better simulate the reality (correlation) and anticipate risks.
？ Be member of the Durability network, get support from Europe, US and Korea and contribute to the experience share with the global team.
？ Give support to Standardization, VA/VE & Innovation ensuring the durability of the product.
？ Validate supplier products (Flex, rubber, heat shield etc) linked to durability development.
？ Deliver training to other teams about durability knowhow.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:

？ Good communication skills.
？ Master in engineering / mechanics / vibration. Strong knowledge in mechanical, mechanics, vibration & fatigue theory.
？ Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position (CAE engineer, Validation engineer) preferably in the automotive industry. Familiar with Nastran, abaqus, LMS, N-code is a plus.
？ Proven experience in problem solving, correlation between simulation VS test & structure optimization skills.
？ Autonomous to analyse, judge, conclude & take responsibility of decision making based on facts.
？ Good presentation skills in front of product engineer, top management & customer.
？ Good knowledge of Program management standards, Priority setting & Planning.
？ Speak Chinese and English fluently.
？ Good office skills, especially excel & powerpoint. 举报 分享
