SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
China is an important market for scientific instruments. To enhance market awareness, we are requisitioning a Marcom Specialist in China. The main responsibilities are to generate quality leads to support annual sales booking targets and to meet marketing objectives. The person will work closely with relevant stakeholders to plan and managemarketing activities, including digital marketing, workshops, user meetings, conferences and tradeshows.
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This role will work closely with Sales, Applications and Service teams in China and Taiwan to provide the following marcom support for customer acquisition and retention of Bruker Nano Surfaces product lines. There will also be regular communications and reports to APAC and USA.
Oversee digital marketing including content and management of multiple online channels such as search marketing, online exhibitions, webinars and social marketingConceptualize, plan and execute all marketing communication activities in China and Taiwan; according to target audience and target market segments in both Academic and Industrial marketsManage local language translation projects for web pages and any other marketing collaterals/materialsWork with local channel partners (where applicable) to maximize reach in local market
 
WORK LOCATION:
Shanghai (Preferable) or Beijing
 
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Any other duties that may be assigned by the Manager
 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Business travel is required for meetings, tradeshows/conferences, workshops (Estimated 30%)
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Fluent in English and ChineseExcellent inter-personal communication skillsA positive team player, self-motivated with analytical skillsSkills with CRM and Marcom tools are preferred
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s or PhD in Science/Engineering, such as Material Science, Physics, Chemistry or Life Science6+ years of working experience in marketing communications or similar field in a multinational company for Master Degree holder or 3+ years of working experience for PhD Degree holder
