Summary of Client:
Our client is a very famous leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider.
Reporting Lines:
Report to: General Manager
Job Summary:
Sales development and collaboration with segment. Responsible for providing leadership in the planning, design and implementation of customers’ specific business plans and will provide vision, penetration strategies and tactics to executive managers in order to develop and drive external and internal senior level relationships. Responsible for analyzing and understanding customers’ business strategies, future product plans, expansion activities and align Group resources where mutually beneficial and will cultivate and capture new business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work to operational objectives for the Business Development function and delegate assignments to subordinate managers and/or team members as appropriate.
2. Work closely with the team to manage each account for maximum operating profit and revenue growth and develop and communicate metrics for same to all levels of internal and external management.
3. Maintain and sustain business relationships, close deal and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Support and/or participate in management team negotiations on difficult and or critical business matters, through interaction with senior and executive level managers both internally and externally.
5. Be involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies which affect immediate operations and may also have a companywide effect.
6. Work on issues within the spectrum of planning, budgeting, implementing and maintaining cost methods and employees.
7. Work closely with the Business Development team to ensure budgets, schedules and performance criteria are met.
8. Manage activities within the department through subordinate managers who exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods,and employees.
9. Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’ s degree or above.
2. Minimum 10 years of sales / business development experience in automotive / computing / consumer / industrial / mobile industry etc..
3. Fluent oral and written English.
4. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
5. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or styles. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
6. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
7. Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
8. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
