Technical Service Supervisor技术服务主管

Responsibilities:
- Manages and leads the technical service efforts of assigned accounts, communicates and organizes Evonik oil additives activities.
- Provides input on market trends and competitor activities to the business team.
- Provides ongoing support to customers to maintain current business; advises customers on proper selection and application of products; develops sales service projects; supports negotiation of specifications with customers and records findings and results for communication.
- Develops and maintains close contacts with customer's technical staff in order to identify technical needs and initiate the necessary steps internally; designs application experiments and evaluates technical data.
- Develops lube formulation and/or initiates new additives products in coordination with Innovation and Sales teams; defines customer needs as a basis for a chemical product definition for product requests outside the portfolio; follows up on samples delivered.
- Coordinate sales & marketing & OEM activities in China region such as seminar, training etc when necessary.
- Manages resource allocation for the various projects and customer support; uses negotiation and influence to impact the daily work.
- Present Evonik oil additives technology in industry events.
- Learn & develop to be a Evonik Oil additives technical expert and team resource.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor level degree in Chemistry, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- Min. 5 years working experiences in lubricant industry.
- Well-developed presentation, interpersonal and project management skills.
- Strong network in lubricant related industry preferred, Skills on Auto and/or Industrial OEM field test would be an advantage.
- Actively promotes a positive team spirit.
- Willingness to travel.
- Fluent oral and written English.
- Computer skills (Lotus Notes, MS Office, etc.)
