Position Purpose /Summary (职位综述)
Brief summary of position’s purpose or role – the primary objective of the role
? Achieve the annual sales and margin target while ensuring that all accounts receivables are collected on time;.
? Maintain and update sales forecast plans in order for internal stakeholders to deliver their services to meet customer demand and expectations regularly
? Develop and execute the key account plan, updating regularly based on changes to customer needs and expectations.
? Develop and execute competitive takeaway strategies to increase UOP’s market share in the adsorbents and separations business.
? Manage documentation and control of reports: customer call reports, sales reports, win-loss reports, competitive reports, industry reports, etc.
? Manage cost and business expense within allocated budget provision.
Key Areas of Responsibility (主要职责)
Describe the key tasks / activities that are necessary to fulfil the purpose of the role – remember these actions should not be key “goals” – these should be reviewed and allocated annually as part of the performance development program
? Achieve or exceed the annual sales target under the lead of the Sales Manager;
? Responsible for AR collection efforts to deliver agreed to results
? Develop and implement key account plan for strategic customers and annual sales forecast plan. Build, maintain and grow effective business relationships with these key customers: identify customer needs and expectations and forecast its changes over time;
? Visit clients at petrochemical and refinery companies and keep regular contacts with chemical/ refinery design institutes. Explore potential business opportunity with customers.
? Update the sales forecast plan regularly to ensure accurate and timely data input to Finance, Marketing, Import & Export, Production and Warehouse.
? Implement pricing strategies to meet business objectives.
? Identify and drive new sales opportunities and capture strategies integrated with applicable product line programs.
? Develop strategies and execute competitive take-aways to win these.
? Maintain customer records per department guidelines with emphasis on contacts, scheduled meetings, call reports, win-loss reports, competitive reports, industry segment reports and other important documents
? Support marketing activities (i.e. new product commercialization, Collect Voice of Customers, Provide summary of customer and market analysis, support preparing Marketing reports, etc.)
? Support market segmentation (product rationalization, customer rationalization) as established by management
? Finish sales monthly reports, sales demand and other reports on a timely basis.
? Periodically visit customers in one’s respective region, collect and file up customer list, collect molecular sieve application unit information and raise and document customer needs and expectations.
? Be responsible for annual Customer Satisfaction Investigation within the assigned district.
? Deal with the customer complaints according to the Company guidelines and procedures.
? Control business travel and entertainment expenses within the approved budget; Follow the company policy to submit business expenses reports..
? Keep teamwork spirit, actively communicate and share key information with the other responsible salesperson.
? Follow, implement and maintain HS&E management system policy, procedures, work instructions, rule and regulations that developed or/and implemented within sales department or and the company.
? Promptly report, correct any unsafe action and condition that may present in work place.
? Other works assigned by Sales Manager and Sales Regional Manager
Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge (资格要求)
Job Specifications General
Education / Qualifications ? B.S. Chemistry or B. Eng (Chemical Engineering). B.S Petroleum refining is preferred.
Experience ? Min. 5 years sales or business development experience in refinery industry, Petro chemical industry. Understand refinery technology process and working experience at refinery plant. Especial at CCR or Hydrotreating plant work will be an advantage.
? History of marketing and selling large industrial projects to EPC firms and End Users
Professional Skills / Knowledge ? Native Chinese. Good at written English.
? Good command of OA & Internet.
? Strong market development and intercommunication skills.
