GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Aftermarket Engineer is responsible for the support of the Motorparts organization. This work may include:
? Internal part design of Chassis Steering &Suspension components.
? Reverse engineering of Chassis Steering &Suspension components.
? Collect and archive components drawing and technical files.
? Technical support for quality/inspection department
? Technical support for the manufacturing plant. Work with manufacturing facility to assure ability to manufacture designs and participates in feasibility reviews.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Engineering Degree preferably Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or associates degree in related field with automotive industry experience.
EXPERIENCE: Prefer to 2 years above experience in related career
LANGUAGE:
SALARY GRADE: Capable to read and write English
REQUIREMENTS: ? Capable to use basic dimension inspection tools and devices such as caliper and micrometer.
? Good Microsoft Office Tool knowledge and computer proficiency.
? Must be able to create and understand various component drawings in appropriate format. Recreate existing manually drawn customer prints on CAD system.
? Must be able to electronically transfer CAD customer prints to manufacturing facilities and customers.
? Prefer to be capable to follow standard company 3-D solid model system. Such as NX CAD software.
? Prefer to understand GD&T knowledge.
? Capable of providing support as requested by engineering manager.
? Willing to travel internationally as needed.
