JOB DESCRIPTION
? Provide direct tactical and strategic marketing to the Generated Gases SOG, SOE and Mid Cryo Business teams and the larger merchant organisation for Generated Gases.
? Working with Segment Marketing and Direct Marketing personnel in Merchant and other MFOs, the incumbent will develop marketing plans and strategies to enhance Air Products market positions in geographies that matters including. This will translate into the quantity and quality of new business signings as per Asia Gen Gas Vision and Mission.
? Acquire, collate and analyse market data to determine business trends and opportunities for growth in Gen Gas
? Provide business support to Asia Gen Gas SOG on pricing management, CRM updates and S&OP input.

DIMENSIONS
? Annual Revenue: $145MM with projected growth rate of > 24% p.a.
? DP/Sales: ~30%.
? Number of existing accounts: 115.
? Number of team members within business team: ~15.
Accountabilities

Generated Gases Marketing
Lead GG Lead Generation activities.
Coordination with LB, TGEE segment marketing, provide GG input into segment marketing activities (campaigns, touch programs, exhibitions).
Carry out specific GG country lead generation campaigns.
Develop conversion plan through semi-annual reviews with the GG & LB teams and lead follow up required.
Drive and coordinate market understanding to support development of newer segments to GG which can contribute to translational and stepout growth for the business.
Support GG Product Managers in understanding the market for existing & new product - adhoc/project based.
Market research and support development of new markets. Understand GG potential within LBU regions and key segment opportunities outside of LBU regions.
Continuously monitor the Generated Gases competitive landscape in Asia, including competitor installations in Asia, volume & market shares, product developments of competition, & use information in lead generation activities as required. Provide Asian input to Gen Gases CI database.
Lead Generated Gases communications activities.
Develop and deliver the communications plan together with Marketing communications associate.
Ensure that the Asian country webpages are up to date, coordinated with global GG web content. Focus on Search Engine optimisation.
Maintain & improve customer presentations, pitch packs, sales proposals.
Develop product brochures & GG material in Asian languages as needed.
Develop case studies & press releases as needed.
Reporting:
Creation/summary of monthly report, including marketing activities & prospect list.
Provide input into Sales Activity review & Generated Gases S&OP.
Ensure SFDC is up to date - GG process lead for SFDC.
Provide input into Customer Masterlist & Installed capacity database (co-ownership with Asset Management co-ordinator, take ownership of required marketing information, like segmentation & lost business).
Ownership of the GG Asia AP-online share site.
Lead Training activities for the Generated Gases commercial teams (4-5 E-trainings per session, potential of one 3 day sales training).
Other activities: project work/presentation/meeting prep.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

? Self motivated with drive for business results.
? Good analytical skills and resourceful
? Strong communication and influencing skills.
? Fluent in written and oral Chinese and English languages
? Experience in marketing and/or Generated Gases product line will be beneficial.
Sales experience is considered as a 'plus'.
? University Graduate degree (required).
