This position is responsible to make payment timely and accurately to both suppliers and employees. The incumbentis also responsible for posting transactions from Payables accounts to bank clearing accounts and following up the whole process of payment remittance.



Nature and Scope:

This position reports to Asia Payment Team Lead. The primary responsibility is to process payment timely and accurately through e-Banking system(HSBC connect ,HSBC net and other bank portal).

1.Run payment proposal in SAP, prepare payment template via HSBC net or other bank portal for those can't be

processed through HSBC connect
2.Audit the proposal and pass the payments with amount greater than threshold to supervisor for review
3.Release payment to bank, and monitor payment status by checking Bizadmin report and reject payment log made by bank team to ensure payment accuracy and completeness.
4.Fill up failed payment report & duplicate payment report to follow up to close outstanding issues
5.Post manual payment transaction from Payable accounts to bank clearing account
6.Responsible for payment inquiry from Clients
7.Liaise with other members of the Finance accounting or other teams with the objective of helping to clear

reconciliation items from the bank statements and reflecting correct supplier accounts
8.Maintain productivity and target timeline as assigned
9.Achieve goal and tasks as business needs

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Make payment to suppliers and employees in accordance with company policy.
2. Liaise with bank to solve problems for failure of payment release, rejection of payment, etc.
3. Assist Bank team to clear bank reconciliation items.
4. Input payment transaction which are carried out by Direct Debit or manual check into vendor account in SAP.
5. Review open invoice report to make sure outstanding issues be monitored and resolved in timely manner.



Job Requirements:

1. The candidates requires with College Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with at least 2 years experience work for international company.
2. Planning and prioritizing own workload to meet deadline.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
4. A good business level of English is requisite.
5. A strong ability to interpret business issues as related to this position.
6. Working experience with SAP or Shared Service Center is a plus.
