POSITION SUMMARY
Purpose
To support and/or lead gas sales activities through promoting and implementing Air Products gas applications technologies and equipment in the Electronics Packaging, Assembly and Testing (EPAT) industry. Responsible for technical sales support, implementing marketing plans for the segment, providing technical service to new and existing customers and working with R & D to develop new applications.

Nature and Scope
? Supporting and/or leading gas sales activities through promoting and implementing Air Products gas applications technologies and equipment in the EPAT industry.
? Supporting implementation of Air Products Marketing Plans and Action Plans for the EPAT industry.
? Commercializing new and existing industrial gas applications and services for EPAT in China.
? Using engineering principles to develop processes, carry out services, improve equipment design and perform other technical functions in the EPAT industry.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Meet with potential customers to: (a) present technology; (b) demonstrate economic viability; (c) structure general business parameters; and (d) recommend action plans.
2. Sign new business through identification and development of prospects, preparation of technical proposals, and participation in joint selling efforts with local or regional sales personnel.
3. Conduct start-ups in customers' plants, collect data, evaluate and make changes to process parameters as required, and train customer operating personnel.
4. Maintain existing accounts through periodic contacts coordinated with field personnel and make recommendations for specific actions.
5. Identify the need and scope for, as well as coordinate the performance of, laboratory or field trials of customer processes and/or products. Participate in laboratory or field trials.
6. Coordinate with region and other personnel (such as Equipment, Engineering, Customer station) to ensure proper specifications and timely installation of supply systems and equipment.
7. Plan and participate in market studies to provide information for expanded sales or market share or for justification of new or expanded production facilities.
8. Prepare technical papers, feature articles, and assist in developing brochures and other technical literature. Participate in trade shows. Conduct training and technical seminars for field sales personnel, prospects and customers.
9. Understand and implement proper safety procedures.
10. Work with Asia Regional Specialists and US/Europe Application specialists to transfer technology to the region.
11. Functionally report to China GAD EPAT Applications team Lead and part of the Asia regional EPAT segment team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
? University degree in Technical Engineering or similar fields.
? Minimum 5 years' experience in Printed Circuit Board Assembly, SMT or IC Packaging and Testing related industry.
? Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills; willing to travel.
? Good command of spoken and written English.
? Self motivated and a team player.
