This job position is to perform either in house mechanical engineering and design or review/supervision of the mechanical design by LDI or suppliers for all AP Asia executed gasification projects. This position will require a relatively senior level engineer who is able to perform the require pressure vessel/ heat exchanger/materials handling design responsibilities and provide proper judgment in reviewing LDI or vendor’s mechanical design drawings. He/she will be also expected to provide mechanical equipment and construction material estimation support to PDE.

Position Responsibilities: 职位要求
The position involves technical support for the Energy Product Supply Team.
- Engineer, design, & startup of gasification systems, heat transfer equipment, environmental control equipment / systems and bulk material handling systems.
- Accountable for deliverables including conceptual design, basic engineering design, detailed design, safety review, and startup coordination in equipment area.
- Interface with multi-functional engineering groups both within Air Products and with outside engineering firms, local design institutes, or with gasification technology equipment suppliers. Engineering interface with Air Product’s offices in the United States on technical matters is also required.

Qualifications技能要求:
- BS/MS Mechanical Engineer with 5 years minimum experience.
- Broad generalist engineering knowledge is required. Working knowledge of applicable local codes and standards for pressure vessels and piping is needed with the abilities to write clear/concise specifications, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and assist in commissioning.
-Experience and hands-on demonstrated skills related to gasification (especially solid fired), shift, Rectisol, Sulfur recovery, environmental control systems, and bulk materials handling are a plus.
-Have English language communication skills to engage in technical discussions.
- Enthusiastic personality and hard working with good team working spirit。
