DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Understanding of the Engineering Organization, Processes and Requirements.
?Coordinate competitive benchmarking activities.
?Develop test plans based upon customer and functional requirements.
?Coordinate dyno tests: Prepare testing requests, coordinate parts and evaluate final test results.
?Interface with Product Engineering providing feedback of product performance from both internal and external customers.
?Establish technical specifications based on discussions with Product Engineers, Product Management, Sales & Marketing and the Customers.
?Support Aftermarket Sales & Marketing in releasing and/or maintaining new products, pads, rotors, drums, etc. (checking & approval of new or modified products).
?Supports the Quality and Sales functions in the evaluation of returned parts for failure mode and warranty.
?Participate in Marketing Benchmark and Customer activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
?Comprehensive Product Lifecycle knowledge, from Concept to Design & Production Processes.
?Knows and uses well the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of friction performance, application operation and engineering practices.
?Develop a working knowledge of the customary materials, components, test procedures and applications.
?Excellent verbal & good written communication skills.
?Good organizing skills with experience on setting priorities.
?Excellent knowledge of PC standard software.
?Chinese and fluent English required
?Able to work in a team environment
?Knowledge of HSE procedures and rules, ergonomic risks and control methods related to the operational area
?Engineering Degree preferably Mechanical or Materials Eng.
?Desired 2 or more years experience in a similar role. More experience would be considered and provide a wider scope of responsibility
