The UOP business unit, a $3 billion revenue global enterprise, is one of five business units that comprise the Honeywell Performance Materials & Technologies strategic business group. This finance leadership position will have financial stewardship over UOP China business including sales and marketing, two plants and one JV. This person will provide full financial support for PT&E, CA&S and GP&H businesses with combined revenues of over $300M and with a great potential to grow. This role has accountability for commercial finance and oversight of controllership. The leader is primarily responsible for supporting business growth by working closely with UOP China GM and staff, ensuring the financial accuracy of actual results, supporting budgets and forecasts, and managing expenses.
The finance leader is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
General
? Partner with China GM providing financial analysis, decision-support and critical thinking in support of regional growth initiatives.
? Develop robust & innovative country financing reporting / effective analytic tools and provide in-depth financial analysis.
? Provide financial leadership and stewardship for all UOP businesses including manufacturing sites.
? Financial liaison (and point of contact) to UOP’s Market Segment Finance teams. Partner with Project managers, Sales, Procurement, COM, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Logistics and other functional teams to drive business growth.
? Participate and provide support in the Annual Operating Plan & Strategic Planning cycles.
? Analyze Rev/GM and source expense variances / trends including indirect spend and OEF.
? Manage direct reports within the team & providing leadership including staff development, training, mentoring & coaching. Overall responsibility to implement a high-quality Management Resource Review (MRR) process for all financial resources to maximize finance personnel’s contributions to the site and to the UOP business.
? Drive Functional Transformation, identify opportunities & initiate projects to improve processes resulting in elimination of non-value added tasks & increase productivity.
? Leading the Finance team in all financial aspects to ensuring that proper internal controls are in place.
? Manage special projects as assigned
Qualifications & Work Experience:
? At least 15 years of diverse finance experience in progressively responsible roles
? Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, MBA or CPA is preferred but not required
? Commercial business experience (i.e., business analysis, financial planning & analysis) is highly desired
? Knowledge of Project & Cost accounting is preferred
? Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry is preferred
? Knowledge of China statutory & Tax Laws and Regulations
