JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE
-describe in 3-4 short sentences the responsibility and authority (budget, revenue, internal/external contacts, etc.) of the job.
Strategic innovation in China R&D is responsible for cross-functional identification and evaluation of promising opportunities, plus external innovation ecosystem and internal innovation culture development. In defined scope of innovation ecosystem, there will be needs to explore potential industry incubators/accelerators and academic collaboration opportunities in order to support BD’s local growth strategy.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-list the primary tasks or activities this job performs on an ongoing basis.
1.Based on existing knowledge, explore China industry accelerator/incubator landscape to understand possible collaboration models with industry players.
2.Research healthcare/medtech focused incubators’ information, and identify potential partners. And deep dive the partners’ information and present the findings to the SI team.
3.For potential academic collaborators, provide deep-dive information of the institution and present the findings to the SI team.
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED
-identify the specific skills needed to perform this job effectively (leadership skills, selling skills, computer literacy, etc.)
1.Healthcare/medtech background is must to have
2.Excellent written and oral skills (Chinese and English)
3.Energetic, creative, and with good analytical abilities
4.Good commutation skills and ability to work with multiple teams
5.Be able to identify, describe the problem clearly with following solutions/plans proposed to the managers. And can identify the resource and fetch information and synthesize into a report efficiently
KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION REQUIRED
-identify the knowledge, expertise, educational level required to perform this job successfully (product /industry knowledge, technical /business acumen, university degree, professional certification, etc.)
Current MBA candidate, University degree, strong analytics and business development skills, with essential PowerPoint skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-describe the on the job experience level required to perform this job (e.g. years of management experience, years of experience in a certain discipline, etc.).
1.>=3 years relevant experience in strategic planning, business development.
2.Background in healthcare/medtech industry or consultancy
