Responsibility
Collection and management of electronic data in support of R&D and projects
Manipulation of data sets to understand their meaning and recreation of database systems to assist in providing business insights to clients
Development of software applications and automation tools to process data of a significant size
Set up database infrastructure and systems, handle server configuration and maintenance
Conduct analysis of data using established methodology
Undertake quality control measures to ensure consistent and accurate work practices
Work with a team to solve complex problems experienced in business
Prepare project related documents in Chinese or English




Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
1-3 years related working experience
Essential Attributes
Familiar with at least one programming language, such as C#, Python, etc. Certified programmer will be a plus
Software development ability, adequate experience in designing (automation) tools or publishing websites
Understanding of database systems (query, alignment, localization, schema and non-schema DBs, web based as well as mobile (SQL lite))
Adequate working experience on both iOS and Android platforms. Experience interfacing with web backbends will be a plus.
Able to design customized solutions and execute the plan accordingly
Could produce clear, readable, commented code with documentation
Good team player
Able to demonstrate innovation and solving complex problems
Able to demonstrate a strong and enthusiastic work ethic
Creative and self-motivated
Ability to see a problem and break it down to its logical components
Desired Attributes
Experience in web page refinement/art design, product testing
Strong communication and report writing skills in both English and Mandarin
Good leadership and team spirit
Strong interpersonal skills with abilities to develop relationship with various stakeholders
AML knowledge or experience particular in sanction screening and transaction monitoring would be a plus
